  1. Trying to book a holiday weekend is impossible. How soon do you open up for booking ? You need to set it that a campsite cannot be booked more than 6 months in advance. I know it is money in your pocket BUT you WILL get your money anyway. What is the policy on how soon a campsite can be booked?

  2. I recently purchased a property adjacent to the lake and believe one of the biggest challenges facing the park is a lack of a boat marina and on lake gas station. I am concerned with my ability to safely poor gasoline in my boat without leaking any into the lake. The ability to be able to have a one stop shop for boat repair (on the water) along with being able to safely put gasoline in the boats would be a tremendous asset to the lake. This could be combined with some type of camping store that helps people have their commonly needed camping necessities would be a huge help to making enjoyable and safe camping. While this would likely be financed and completed by a third party (proprietor), having the park actively advertise for a tenant to take on this venture would be something I find important to the longevity of the lakefront activities.

I also think that any money that we can put towards understanding and fighting the algae blooms is incredibly important to the safety of those using the lake. Something is causing these algae blooms to be more prominent at West Boggs vs. other area lakes, and preventing this is imperative to the success of the park.

I believe we should make the promotions of economics and business around the lake a high priority to increase park revenues which will thus allow us to add additional attractions and continue the parks promotion of ADA accessible venues/attractions.
