    • How much does it cost to get into the park? Can I use my State Park pass to enter?
      State Park passes may not be used to enter the park. West Boggs Park is joint county owned and does not operate as a State Park, or receive any tax money. We are 100% funded by user fees. The entrance fee into the park is $7 per day. Annual vehicle passes can be purchased for $63 per pass ($63 +$4 Lake Enhancement Fee). We also offer a yearly VIP pass to senior citizens (65 or older) residing in Daviess or Martin counties for $29 ($25 + $4 Lake Enhancement Fee ) per year.
    • Do you have any other rentals other than campsites?
      Yes, the park offers 4 mobile home units, a secluded cabin, a VIP unit, and 6 shelter houses. Each mobile home unit provides a lakefront setting and is equipped with a full-size living area, kitchen, and bath with three bedrooms (double-size bed in each). It is supplied with linens, cookware, and a coffee maker. The secluded cabin is small with the sleeping area located in an open loft with two full size beds (only access to sleeping area is by steps). Not recommended for small children or people with physical disabilities. Supplied with linens, cookware, and coffee maker.
      The VIP unit offers lake access, one double size bed, and one bunk bed (double size). Supplied with linens, cookware, and coffee maker. The shelter houses vary in amenities, which include electricity, water, large grill, horseshoe pits, close proximity to playground equipment, lake view and lake access, and onsite restrooms.     • Must I pay in advance when making a reservation?
      Yes, all reservations require payment in full at the time the reservation is made.
    • What is your cancellation policy?
      In order to obtain a monetary refund, we require a notice one week prior to check-in date. A one-night stay will be deducted from the monetary refund. If not requesting a monetary refund or the two week deadline has passed, the full amount will be applied to your account and may be used toward future reservations. We request a 48 hour notice for the full amount to be applied to account.
    • Do you close for the Winter? No, but beginning around the second week of November and lasting until about the last week of March, West Boggs operates on a Winter schedule. During the Winter schedule if there is someone working in the Gatehouse, we will still be charging entrance fees. This is different from the past years! The front gate is normally open 8 AM to 4 PM Monday-Friday. Camping is still available at the normal rates. No reservations will be taken for camping during the Winter, it is available on a first come/first serve basis. To camp during these times, there is a self-serve deposit box slightly past the front gate. Water will not be available to most sites and bath houses during this time. There are some sites with water; Bobcat 29-35 and Whitetail 1-14, and 20-22. The bath house between Bobcat and Coyote is open year-round. Mobile Homes and Cabins are not available during the winter months. DNR fishing regulations apply during this time.
    • Can the park be used as a wedding venue?

    • What are your boat launching fees?
      The daily launch fee for those not camping in the park is $10 per day. For those camping at the park, this is a one-time $10 fee for the full length of your stay, whether it be one day or seven days. Annual boating passes can be purchased for $74 per pass ($70 + $4 Lake Enhancement Fee).
