Campground Overview

Nestled on the shores of Dogwood Lake within the Glendale Fish & Wildlife Area, Glendale Campground offers a quiet, scenic getaway for campers, anglers, hunters, and paddlers. Whether you’re here for a weekend of fishing or a peaceful evening by the fire, this year-round campground has you covered.

Fishing, Boating & Outdoor Recreation

Dogwood Lake is one of the most popular fishing destinations in southern Indiana. There is a wonderful opportunity to catch a limit of nice crappie, bass, catfish, and a large mess of big bluegills. After spending the day on the lake, come back to your level campsite to relax, cook some magnificent food over the flame, and share stories with family and friends. It is also a peaceful and scenic area for kayaking and canoeing. Boaters do not need a DNR permit, but fisherman are required to have a valid fishing license.

Covering 8,060 acres of land and over 1,400 acres of lakes and impoundments, Glendale FWA is managed for high-quality outdoor recreation including:
– Hunting for dove, turkey, deer, waterfowl, rabbit, and squirrel
– Fall put-and-take pheasant hunts
– A network of wildlife habitats and food plots
Visit the Indiana DNR website for current regulations and seasonal updates.

Seasonal Amenities

While the campground is open year-round, certain amenities are only available from mid-to-late April through November 30, depending on the weather:
